Hello all. I recently performed a CFNG and found the zygomatic nerve just anterior to the parotid as it branched into one larger superior branch that stimulated BOTH oculi+ zygomaticus mm, while a smaller inferior branch stimulated zygomaticus mm only. I typically choose the larger diameter branch for the the donor nerve, however, in this case I avoided it as it also gave strong contraction to oculi. I traced the zygomatic branch more proximally into the parotid to see if there were additional parallel branches to zyg muscle I was missing but none were present. Just curious to know if this has been seen frequently by the rest of the group. Thanks for any help.
